Whether to go for a B.Tech course or for a BCA course – has been a longstanding hard choice faced by the students who have slight interest in technical or ITM area after having completed their Class 12th. I, for one, believe that both the courses are best in their own ways as one is an Engineering course and the other one, that is, BCA is an Application course. In India, there are host of universities and colleges that impart B.Tech and BCA Degree both. Now to start with, let us start analyzing both the courses with ratiocination.
BCA
The full form of BCA is Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is a three-year application course. BCA gives a student with a solid platform to further his career in the field of technology. The course curriculum of BCA focuses on database management systems, operating systems, software engineering, computer architecture, web technology and languages such as C, C++, HTML, etc.

BCA VERSUS B.TECH
As the name suggests, the B.Tech is all about Engineering and BCA is concerned with the Application.
B.Tech is considered as the more comprehensive and professionally valued course because it has lot more subjects than BCA.
As a comparison, we can say that B.Tech is a 4-year course and it is more job-oriented and BCA is a 3-year degree course and relatively is a good platform for higher studies.

Very importance topic to discuss specially for the students who are going to pursue their studies in the field of computer science…
