brain chip

These days the world is running at a pace which is unmatchable in terms of technology and the human race wants to catch the pace. To achieve this, Brain chips are a solution among many which I am going to discuss upon in this write-up.

Brain chips are silicon chips which act as a bridge between brain and computer. These chips transfer electrical signals and then the sensor of chips traps the signals and communication begins.

The technique behind this technology

Brain chips are implanted in the brain replacing the parts which are non-functional and in robots and for military purposes. This also is helpful in enhancing one’s memory as well as paralyzed person.

The principle working behind this stands on the base of Neural & Fuzzy Logic taught under Electrical & Electronics engineering (best taught in Advanced Educational Institutions, Palwal). Neural logics mean the whole sensing is done with one or more neurons. A formation of neuron networks is used to recognize signals, noise, patterns, classify data, etc (Digital Signal Processing, MATLAB).

Configuration of brain chip

Brain chip is a combination of brain cells and silicon chips. These two are linked electronically. Once the chip is implanted in the brain, glial cells are developed by the body which protects it from the surroundings and also, prevents the contact of neurons and electrodes. Silicon chip is like a human eye which captures facial expression which helps in the reorganization of people and reading of emotional state.

There is a mental mouse which keeps a control on electrical signals (CAED – Computer Aided Electrical Designs, a subject of EEE in ACTM, Palwal). There is a hollow glass cone which is similar to the ball-point pen tip. Before implantation, tissues are taken from the person’s own knees for nerve growth for using as a coating over this hollow cone. These cones have electrodes in it which traps the impulses (electrical signals) from the endings of the nerve. Then the signal is sent to the receiver with the help of amplifier which is computational. In short, there is a transmitter inside the skull which picks up the signals coming from the brain and converts them into cursor commands of a computer.

These brain chips are even inserted inside the animals to study each and every movement the animals’ follow which helps in studying those animals as well as are helpful in the future experimental works. Also, at times, these chips are used at military levels for extracting information either by inserting in animals or in robots. This technology is emerging out quite promptly related to now a day’s scenario.

  1. indeed very innovative and essential because so much of human life is dependent on electrical signalling within our brain, so it is having huge scope in today’s world….
